Twitter, final update

So I have successfully learned how to use Twitter. The background of my page is set up, I know how to use the update status and I can look at other people's profiles. It seems to be an awesome website in format. The problem I am experiencing, however, is that not enough of my friends and family are on the website, or have an interest in getting it yet. People seem to be extremely satisfied with Facebook. After all, you can posts videos, pictures, comments, private messages, and status. It allows you to do so much more than Twitter. I think the real aim of Twitter is for people with Iphones, or cell phones that can get the Internet. It is a constant on-the-go type of website. For example, while I will be traveling this summer, I will constantly be updating my Twitter status so my friends can keep track of where I am and what not.
